Post subject: the rose

i absolutely despise the way i look, so bear with me... lol. i need to drop some weight and work on the beauty sleep, i do believe... anyhow, here goes nothing...
me at the beach this past summer:

i just looked at these pictures and realized how old they were! nearly a year old if not more... anyhow, here are a couple of pics i have taken within the past six months, ironically, i am holding a rose in all of them (haha, hence the user name 'rose_ashes')
yeah, i was kind of bored when i took those... my rose bush had just bloomed, and i was slightly obsessed with the gorgeous flowers.
