geez, i HATE the states. our government is made up of a bunch of pushovers that won't get anything done right. it's so corrupt, and then the other half of the country is incredibly stuck up and snotty. there's just so much conflict and corruption. i can't stand it.

ideally, i would like to live in perhaps canada or europe. france, england, scottland... all sound like great places to me. :)

We're thinking of retiring to Scotland when the kids are older. We've both been before separately before we met, and we loved it. We got married and honeymooned there - it's a wonderful place, so much history and amazing scenery.

I would still say Canada, where I am, British Columbia. Benefits from Education/medicare to retirement is awesome. It's clean, and safe enough for me and my family. There are lots of wilderness, that aren't that far and I enjoy the smell of flowers all over town. :)

You want my advice on a good place to live in Italy? For 5 years I lived just outsider of Rome, right next to a lake called Lago di Bracciano.. Of course, i was living in a small village, but it was beautiful... Venice is too overcrowded and overpriced...

Ideally, if i had the choice, i'd live alone, in the middle of a forest... Because i"m like that

You know I've always wanted to visit places I've never been...But never really had the passion to move from one country to the next...Call me a planted seed...Anyway...I don't think home is a spot or certain place. I think it's more of a stable place where you feel loved, wanted, etc. I'll take the old cliche' "Home is where you hang your heart or hat".. For me...my ultimate place to live would be in a secluded area, in a "Not" over large home...just comfy...Where I was away from the hustle and bustle of Everything from racism to the constant stress of everyday life....Surrounded by my family....able to live in peace.. Not chasing the almighty dollar or trying to keep up with "The Jone's" "Does this place exist"...Well stay tuned...It's my ultimate goal to find it...and for some it may be totally different than what I forsee...All I know is there's got to be something more than this.......El Bandito
