Ahem I may begin
Cheese On Toast *takes a quick look over her shoulder for a mod*
Take 2 rounds of bread
Pop em in the toaster
Take out the butter & cheese
Wait for the toast to pop ..... *takes another sneaky look for a mod on the loose*
Take a butter knife...be careful not to cut yourself lol
Butter the two peices of toast ....(or in my case scrape off the burnt parts first)
Then cut some cheese
Place the cheese on top and VOLA you have ...Cheese on toast
BLT (with cheese)
Two rounds of bread or if you are greedy 4 rounds LOL
Butter them...use the butter knife!
Throw on some crispy Lettuce (be sure to wash it first)
Throw on some cooked bacon
Add some sliced tomatoes
and if you like add some cheese
then cut with bread knife..careful now those knives are sharp
And BINGO you have a nice tasty BLT wif cheese lol
More to follow... :smt028

wait wait! I'm confused. Do we butter BOTH sides of the bread? what if I only have margarine? Does the cooking requirements change with the type of cheeses? what about thickness of the cheese slices?
oh carp! the water is burning....... _________________ Masks reveal what they conceal. Indeed, a person does not hide behind a mask so much as struggle beneath the weight of it.

Post subject: Easy no-mess egg-mayo sarnies
|
|
|
Boil an egg, cool and shell it, then chop it into small pieces.
Butter two rounds of bread and spread a liberal amount of mayo on one.
Pile up the chopped egg and garnish with cress & black pepper.
Add any salad or extra ingredients then place the second slice on top and cut as wished.
Enjoy
Most people would mix the chopped egg with the mayonnaise/black pepper/cress or whatever. Why?!? It just creates extra washing up! LOL _________________

Take whole potatoes and bake as you would normally. When around 20 minutes from being done, take them out and allow to cool. Once cool slice into wedges (as thin or chunky as you like) keeping the skin on each wedge. Brush the skins with butter and place skin side down on a baking tray. Brush the top sides of the wedges with butter, and season liberally with freshly ground sea salt and black pepper. Place back in the oven (180 degrees) for approx 20 minutes then turn the oven up to full for the last 5 - 10 minutes, making sure you keep an eye on them so they don't burn. Delicious eaten hot or cold with a dip.
