A lue day is an extra day off with full pay
NOW...If you work on a bank holiday Monday in our work place...you would get double time and a lue day...which is really good..but guess what?? I DONT
See I am only now contracted to work..Wed, Thur & Fri....so if I came in on an Easter Monday or a bank holiday Monday...I would only get the double time for it..I wouldnt get the lue day like everyone else...because I am not contracted to work that day in general
I was told this last week and had a think about it..now I am pissed...after all its more hassle for me to get a baby sitter in order to go in and help them out on a Bank holiday Monday (their busiest time) and only get double time for it...I dont think that fair....so from now on I am going to say NO!!! Id much rather get the extra day off with full pay than get doulbe time for it
thats just another Geri rant of the week LOL
