Reaching out is not easy

I know this is an old post/thread...but as I was browsing around ..it caught my attention...

We should all realize that all types of depression are not the same...clinical, hormonal...etc,...sometimes it's just a sink hole that you fall into without even realizing it ....other people can notice by your actions..but you don't

Anyway...Not everyone can be treated the same way...some ....medication works for....some herbal remedies work for...some well it really never works for...

I think the real key to getting better is to know "who you are" .....what you really want out of life...I mean we are here for such a short time...some shorter than others...If when you wake up in the morning and you can't think about anything but your interest in life...example" writing, singing, sewing etc," Then that's what you had better do with your life...not what someone else has planned for you...because when all is said and done...You are the only one that "you" need to make happy in order to make the people around you happy...

Drug therapy for some can work wonders...and I know ...Geri I said the same thing....only I said..."geez I'm not taking a happy pill for the rest of my life".....so I took control of my life...and now...I'm a little better ...not totally but any of you ever need to just talk....I'm here...see I took that bull by the horns years ago and mastered him....now...I feel great...about myself...and that's what really matters...not how other's perceive you..but how you feel about yourself...If you feel like a million bucks...then you are a million bucks...if you feel like the scum of the earth...then that's how you will be...if a pill helps you to get to be feeling like the million ...I say take it...if it doesn't then , work on that self -esteem...remember there is no one like you...no other mold...see it was broken when you were born...and for that I think we should all feel very special...El Bandito
