Post subject: astral projection

This is a subject I find very intresting. For those who are not familiar...
http://www.astralvoyage.com/projection/index.html
I have been astral projecting since I was 11. I would only remember the astral catalepsy when your astral body is exiting your physical body. I tried to explain it to my parents, but they wrote it off as bad dreams and stress. I am beginning to remember my experiences in the astral, but I am unable to control when it happens. Any ideas???

| i've read that the more you meditate the more you can control it.....not sure if it works since i've never been able to AP ...... i think it's because i can't concentrate on one thing for to long lol....but you might want to try different forms of that....it may even help with remembering past ones |

I try to focus on a specific place. If you don't sometimes you go places you don't want to go and see things you would just a soon not see.
You have to practice at it to good at it. I haven't done it in a while it tires me out. When I am out of school this summer I'll probably do some. Maybe Nova we could plan to do together and meet in the astro-plain. |

I have heard of people meeting in the astral. I really want to be able to voluntarily ap. I do meditate atleast 2x a day - dawn and dusk.
I have a question for you Darkwind. I do not remember my exists, but I do remember right after when I am still in my house. How is it that I cannot see my cats? I have always beieved cats can see into other dimensions. I think it would be intresting to see how my cats react to my astral body. lol |

someone please explain exactly what astral projection is! I do not quite grasp the concept of it except that it involves you leaving your physical being... when you astral project do you see things as you do when you are awake? please explain! _________________ Physics, physics, physics |

I've been trying to astral project for about 3 years and I still can't do it.
Allthough I had those odd moments when I would have a nap and I would remember that at some point I was actually in another room of the house or apartment, but I don't know whether I was projecting or dreaming.
I know that during dreams you're actually projecting, but I would usually go farther than my own door, now wouldn't I?

AP is not something to be taken lightly....It takes a lot of trial and error...for instance...I have had what is called..."Awareness Sleep Paralysis" for many years...Once I started to somewhat control that..and also reading about AP I found out that I was doing it all along...Just didn't know the technical word for it.
When I was younger I would find myself in what I thought was a dream or as they say...comatose..sleep....anyway...I could feel myself leaving my body....very weightless...uncontrollable feeling like i was just being lifted but could feel it..As it progressed I was able to move throughout my home..but had the terrible fear that if I went outside the door of my home that I would never come back..it's almost like a feeling of flying or floating..no gravity kind of feeling..."and no I didn't see my cats either????" Anyway as the years went by..these AP's progressed to where I was actually somewhere ...not in my house...somewhere I was sure I've never been..had no name for it..but i was there...and always...always...I can remember leaving the body..but not returning to it...have no idea why....
The connection to the ASP " awareness sleep paralysis" is extraordinary...it seems you can control your AP's through it or right after it...anyone who experiences ASP should really give it a try...it's amazing El Bandito _________________ Never fear the dead, fear the living, they are more dangerous...."Trust Me" |

When you return to your body it's more of a snapping back to place (like a rubberband). _________________ ~A~
