I'm sure everyone knows we've had a bit of snow in the UK!!
My village was snowed in for nearly a week, but it was soooo pretty!! Thought I'd post some piccies.

And I loved the inventive way some locals didn't let the weather prevent them from coming to the pub!!

Heyyyyy, Geri, glad you like the pics
Such nice lads, who trekked out on the quad bike for a visit. Chef couldn't reach the village for 6 days, but my Mum was a trooper and supplied them with beef stew and dumplings from her cottage, just up the lane.
Pub is doing great! Pup is a joy, he is living up to breed name- cavalier King Charles. He's ruling the roost at my parents' place LOL. He has a cup of tea with them in bed every morning- I kid you not. I am no longer an only child, he's number one bubba now!
He LOVED the snow!! He manages to look pissed off in every piccie, but he had a wonderful time digging and romping about in the snowdrifts. This piccie is of him and my Mum. He's just a sweetheart. Have my afternoon off tomorrow, and can't wait to go round to their place, have a break from the pub, and curl up with him on the sofa and snooze _________________ "Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint you can on it."

Amazing photos Sarah...the 4 years I lived in Sussex, I only say a light dusting of snow...those photos you shot makes one think of 19th century Britain etchings and wood cuts. Believe it or not, during the months of February and early March it snowed 3 times here in subtropical Texas. We got 9 inches of snow the first time, 4 inches the second time and the 3rd time (on my birthday 1 March) we got snow all day long but the temperature was about 2 centigrade, so none of it stuck.
