I dispise a few things in this world like rude people of any kind and people that don't wait their turn at a four way stop. I have a real problem with the snoring thing too but I just put in my ear buds and I'm a happy girl. _________________ Motivate Your Mind

My supermarket rants- I hate:
-The people that leave frozen/cold stuff in the middle of the store
-People who ask the cashier (me) if they're open when the light above the register is on and the cashier (me, again) is just standing there
-People (usually older, but not always) who hold up the line for 2 minutes digging for change in their pocket/wallet/purse
-People who are excessively rude to the cashier (hi again) or other customers
-Those who act like it will be the end of the world as we know it if their items aren't bagged EXACTLY the way they want it (that's why there is a self-checkout, people)
-Those who have a mysterious, intense fear of the self-checkout (it won't bite, i promise)
-And while I understand that some (read:most) children are strong-willed and won't listen to their mother, I still get angry at the kids that are running around causing mayhem in the store while the parent is staring off into space while their order is being rang up
-Mothers who give in to their kids when said kids ask for something for the third time (really, ladies, how do you expect them to listen to you in the future?)
-People who assume all cashiers are blatantly stupid and haven't the slightest idea of how to do their job (yes, i know such people exist, but i am not one of them. please do not factor me into your stupidity.)
I think I've pretty much exhausted myself for the time being.
Gee, I wonder where I work?

Oh what fun we've had with those - they've been recently installed in our local Asda and every time I go near one it goes mad. First time I used it it wouldn't accept my money (?!) and all the other times I've used it I scan the item, it tells me to pack my item, I do, then it tells me to pay, I do, then it tells me to remove the bag, I do, then it tells me I shouldn't have removed the bag and to put it back LOL the checkout people see me coming and station someone near the self service checkouts now _________________
Why try so hard to fit in when you were born to stand out?
But see, it's not people like you, Bebi.
It's those who I (as the cashier) go up to and say "Would you like to try self check-out?" and they respond that they don't know how. So I come back with "I can show you how to use it" and then they start up with "Oh no, I just don't like those things, they put you dear girls out of jobs." OK, for one that's complete and utter BS because I still have a job with it, watching it to help the Bebi's out there ( ) with their technical difficulties. And for two, I would be MORE than happy to be put out of a dead-end job, because then I would be free to seek better, more gainful (?) employment.
That is all. 8-)
