Post subject: What do you do for fun?

What are some of your hobbies?
My all time favorite hobby and stress buster is painting.
I paint figures and vehicles for wargames and am currently teaching my daughter.
Other hobbies/leisure time activities include:
reading,
writing
learning (various subjects)
cooking,
ATV-ing
woodworking
jetskiing
chatting on the 'net
oh, and
X-box.
So fess up folks: what do you do for fun?

X-box JM hmmm we are a playstation family here (shh resident evil and tomb raider are my fav's)
I also paint and sketch , I go in spurts...
I also play classical piano and am learning guitar
If I am not reading a book or learning something I feel lost...
My favorite pastime is spending time with my 8 year old I am in the first year of home school education and it is a blast. ..Wea re considering aother year.. lol
So JM are you a serious gamer or one that just dabbles????  |

Well, we have over 20 x-box games, and I sometimes get together with my friends for LAN hook ups, but my real love is table top gaming.
WarHammer, Warhammer 40K, Necromunda, Mordheim, and Battlefleet Gothic are the Games workshop games I play.
Then there is Battletech Classic, Babylon 5 Wars, Heavy Gear, Flames of War, Warmachine, Car Wars, and a few older, out of print games I still play.
Oh, and in HS and a few years after, I was an RPG'er too.
Soooo, I guess I'm 'old school, hard core'

I could never understand why someone would want to hit a little ball into a little hole so far away that they need a flag to see where it (the hole) is.

i play guitar jazz rock and classical
video games...
sorry jmpd i'm a playstation fan also,
but mostly now i play computer games battle field 2 and unreal tournament 2004
i read, mostly non fiction now but i love Rober jordan.
i camp and hike alot in the summers when it's not too cold lol
and i watch redwings hockey lol
drink beer but i dunno if that's a hobby... |

| manapa i play a video game on occassion too mostly adventure games, favs are the resident evils, silent hills, the tomb raider ones etc taht sort of thing....my favorite game of all is centipede lol |

go shopping (not much, though. i HATE spending money. i'll do anything it takes not to spend it, but sometimes there are things that i really do need to get...)
eating? lol!
taking photos
getting online
watching tv

playing board/card games

i played the 2nd resident evil game, it scared me...
lol the puzzels get to me too i gotta look it up on the internet or just cheat....
i'm not paitenet enough for those games....
i like instant gratification like just blasting at people with a gun on bf2...
it's good stress releaf soemtimes....
i do like some adventrue games though, and quite a few rpgs...
my favorite of all tme is legend of zelda... |

I:
Read, voraciously.
Play the piano.
Shop for junk. I'm a thrift store/garage sale/flea market wh*re.
Write poetry.
Attempt to create mixed-media art.
Garden. Herbs and flowers.
Cook.
Cloud/Star gaze.
Balance rocks. It's a weird thing, but very relaxing.
Collect shoes. I have this severe shoe addiction, but most of the time I run around barefoot.
Play on the internet way too much. |

You'd like the spyro the dragon games then on playstation have you tryed those...lol they are very fun actually, i didn't mention those i didn't want to appear immature lol.....I love the puzzles lol and finding stuff its weird i like getting the health plnats and waht not storing in the box..i don't really like the killing part. I usualy have my hubby do that part....I have to admit I had a hard time at first killing things....i try to find games ( good luck sheri) on the least violence or run past zombies or what not...the only game that scared me was Nemeisis...and Code verocnica...lol |

Vincent...tried really hard to get the big long stick to make the little ball go into the hole that's like a million miles away "with a flag"...to go in..but..LOL...nadda...can't play golf to save myself..and figured .......why bother...
I like to read
write/compose music
play my guitars..."I have like 5 of them"
Spend time with my girls
Gardening.."it's so relaxing and fullfilling"
Spend time with my husband " my soul mate"
meditate
Love to watch American football...whooo hooo!!!!!!

Paranormal investigation
saving lives.."I do that daily at work"
going to our cabin and just being with nature..."one of my fav's"
hanging out on the computer..just to see what I can learn from everyone else..
Also play piano
