Post subject: The new members of Rawberri's what song do you think of???
|
|
|
Lets have some fun if you were to pick a song for a member one you know or one you 've seen posting what song best represents them to you
and why????
For me with geri berri i always think of RESPECT by aretha franklin, the reason is she doesn't play when it comes to respect. also Queen's you are my best friend,
I'll post more after I think of it for a bit...I hope everyone has fun with this lol

That's a good one for Geri. I think of sheri as a Mellow Yellow kind of girl maybe because you're from sunny california and bacca makes me think of anything by Pink. I think I'm a Bonnie Raite "Let's give em something to talk about" kind of girl.
This is fun I'll try to think of some more too. _________________ Motivate Your Mind |

AHA A great thread idea sheri
When I think of Sheri..the song... - I did it my way...springs to mind lol and for the both of us - I am what I am - (Gloria gaynor) love that song..sums us both up to a Tee LOL
When I think of Vince - We Dont Need Another Hero (Tina Turner) Fire Starter (Proidigy)
When I think Of Bacca & moon Berri - Oppss I did It Again (Britiany Spears) & Hit The Road Jack And Dont ya Come Back LOL!!
Here are the Lyrics for Sheri & Geri Berri's Song LOLHeck The WHOLE of the berri clans theme song.........
I am What I am
I am what I am
I am my own special creation
So come take a look
Give me the hook
Or the ovation
It's my world
That I want to have a little pride
My world
And it's not a place I have to hide in
Life's not worth a damn
Till I can say
I am what I am
I am what I am
I don't want praise, I don't want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it's noise I think it's pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not see things from a different angle
Your life is a shame
Till you can shout out I am what I am
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
It's one life and there's no return and no deposit
One life so it's time to open up your closet
Life's not worth a dam till you can shout out
I am what I am
I am what I am
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
It's one life and there's no return and no deposit
One life so it's time to open up your closet
Life's not worth a dam till you can shout out
I am what I am
I am I am I am good
I am I am I am strong
I am I am I am worthy
I am I am I belong
I am
I am
Who whoooo etc.
I am
I am I am I am useful
I am I am I am true
I am I am somebody
I am as good as you
Yes I am :smoke: _________________

"Casey Jones" is okay, Sheri. There isn't one particular GD tune that I prefer over another. On a good night, they were all my favorite songs; in turn, on a not-so-good night, I spent more time socializing than paying attention to the music.
Generally speaking, what they recorded in the studio over the 30 years of their existence pales in comparison to what they pumped out on stage. However, "Casey Jones" (from Workingman's Dead) was one of their more successful studio efforts. The "Box of Rain" from American Beauty/Reality (depending on how you look at it) was the tune got me hooked.
I taught a Summer Session course on Madonna for several years at Beaver/Arcadia. "Like A Virgin" might be a funny association towards PA but if you actually consider the message of the lyric and the video, it doesn't fit him very well. "Lucky Star" is a great song.

So you approve lol thanks for the history too lol.....(((hugs))))
