Nice (?) find SC. I am sorry to hear about your uncle's family. It makes one wonder with all of the good people that died just where this world would be if they were still here. _________________ NATIVE AMERICAN WISDOM |

| The Holocaust was definitely a bad thing, but if there is a God there is no point in really questioning his judgement. Perhaps it was a warning for future generations, so that something REALLY REALLY bad doesn't happen. I mean hell, the holocaust was before nuclear devices... |

I don't buy that. Simply because history has a nasty habbit or repeating itself. Mostly because humans never learn. Just you wait.. sometime in the future, there will be something just like the holochaust if not worse again. _________________ I'll work on this when I feel compelled. And not lazy |

| All I was saying is that IF there is a god there is absolutely no point in questioning his judgement, because he knows everything and you don't (I think you're talking about a Catholic God here). |

Don't... do that. There's no difference between the "Catholic God" and the "Methadists" and the "Baptist" God.... There's no difference between the "Jeudaic" God, "Christian" God, or "Muslim" God.
SAME GOD...
Different human equations.

The versions of God that are worshiped by the Catholics, Methodists, Baptists, Christians, and Islamic Allah are all verions of the Judaic God.
Catholics, Methodists, Baptists are denominations of Christianity.

ONLY if you believe in a judgemental, god who doesn't seem to mind the fact that millions of ""his"" creations were slaughtered just for believing in ""him"".
Or a fickle god that would wipe out all of ""his""" creations because ""he"" didn't like the way they were behaving. Even though ""he"" supposedly gave them 'free will' to do what they pleased. _________________ Masks reveal what they conceal. YHVH is not the only God to destroy the world in a whim. The Mayan Gods did it three times, by fire, water and wind, all because they screwed up the first three times. _________________ I ONLY BELIEVE WHAT I PERCEIVE WITH MY OWN PSYCHIC POWERS, OR MAKES LOGICAL SENSE. | Quote: | | Roughly 2000 years ago the 69th week of the 70 weeks of Daniel 9 started. |
You realize, of course, that Daniel is a psuedepigraph written in mid-2nd century BCE…..this is not a prophetic document , but rather a forgery that assigns the authorship to an ancient (even to them) Israelite to give it authority…LOL
| Quote: | | The Christians claim he was John the Baptist. Anyway, something happened to him. He was prevented from doing his part of the job. |
Sounds like rather poor planning on the part of an infallible god…LOL
As for the rest…just sounds like mythology to me…LOL
