Spiritual enlightenment is a damned hard thing to find... I always considered it as inner peace. Clarity... whatever... the truth is Spiritual Enlightenment is acheived differently depending on the individual...
At the moment i see open warfare... People dying, killing and just general hate... This saddens me beyond beleif. My friend, Mike chooses to watch, and not act. I on the other hand, choose to challenge the iron cast morals of modern society with spoken word and/or comedy. I want to show you all a world of peace... harmony... love... and most importantly, understanding. Not all muslims are terrorrists... not all drug users are murderers and rapists... But from an early age we accept what our parents teach us. I did for a while... but I would ask you to see the world in it's true light... Which at the moment is slowly turning to Hell on Earth.
I know my vision of the forthcoming world is idealistic... and many of you may choose to disagree with it. I'm used to it. But guys... do me a favour tonight... while you are lying in bed try and mull these words over in your mind...
"You know all that money we spend each year making weapons? We could feesably take all that money and use it to feed all the poor of the world many times over not one single human being excluded."
Take Care... This cowboy is riding off into the sunset for a while...
"See you later space cowboy"

I agree the money could be spent to feed the poor...but also educate them...teach them a trade...not all poor are without pride...some would look at it as charity and they won't except charity...
And what about while we are feeding, clothing, etc,...The terrorist..."Many who are led by a very wealthy mass of mad men"...Are using their money to once again...bring us to our knees...
You can change some of the people some of the time, most of the people most of the time...but not all the people, all of the time....We will never change terrorists...They are so far gone and believe so strongly in what they are doing that they are willing to blow themselves up..."Suicide bombers" for example...They know from the get go that they are going to be dying for something that they believe so strongly in..."Hate"...
The idealistic world is a world of peace...but I don't see it ever coming about...Too much greed, loathing and hate for that to happen...El Bandito _________________ Never fear the dead, fear the living, they are more dangerous...."Trust Me" |

You know the reality of life is very hard to understand. As an adult I stand sort of shell shocked at the way people are.
I am continually amazed at what we are capable of doing to one another.
The way you can help make a difference is to accept every moment as a gift.
Its like the last line in American Beauty. I remember watching that movie disgusted the whole way through it. But at the end it turns around and reminds you that you'd do it again anyway.
We all would. I feel sorry for people who commit suicide because I understand that at some moments the whole deal seems pointless. But for the reality of life we just have to take the good with the bad and learn from it and do our best.
Sometimes it seems like you shouldn't go on while others suffer. I get that too. But in wasting what you have an opportunity to do you are shaming their life.
Thank your lucky stars that you have been born in the life you have and go for it. Embrace it all. Its a gift.
