Post subject: My Material part2- Religion and Waco
|
|
|
Disclaimer: The views expressed in this comedic material are a little... sore... They are purely intended to express my views and opinions on certain matters such as religion, war and politics... Any mention of illicit drugs on this post or any of the other posts i put up are not, and i repeat NOT intended to promote recreational drug use, or drug abuse, but merely to raise awareness on the fact that drug use is not all black and white, as the government portrays it, but merely much grey area. Any views on religion is purely my opinion, and it is not intended to cause offense to anyone in particular, however people may not like what I say about christianity. If ANYONE is offended by any of my material, i would like to apologize now, because all i am trying to do is showcase my material... Adult language has been severely reduced, even eliminated, since this is a forum. If anyone would like to obtain some of my uncensored material, which also contains more expletive content about drugs, feel free to email me...
One last thing: I try and keep this original as possible. I will admit, a lot of my material has been heavily influenced by the late, great Bill Hicks however I will say that i'm not agreeing with him just to gain credit, I am agreeing with him because I beleive what he says is correct.
Finally, all material expressed in these posts or in emails sent from me, to you is MY material! I know you guys are not the types to steal material from anyone, but I can never be too careful. Thank you for taking the time to read this disclaimer, and I hope you enjoy my material...
Religion does funny things to a person's mind. I would have to say that christianity would be my least favorite. Vampire priests sink their twin fangs of guilt and sin into you to make you beleive... And christianity contradicts itself a little too much for my likings... The fact that eternal suffering awaits anyone who dares question the eternal and universal love of God weirds me out...That's the message we're brought up with, isn't it? Believe or die! 'Thank you, forgiving Lord, for all those options.
Fundamentalist Christianity. Fascinating. These people actually believe the world is 12 thousand years old. Swear to God! Based on what? I asked them. 'Well, we looked at all the people in the Bible, and we added them up all the way back to Adam and Eve, their ages – 12 thousand years.' Well, how scientific! Okay. I didn't know that you'd gone to so much trouble there. That's good.
You believe the world's 12 thousand years old? 'That's right.' Okay, I got one word to ask you. A one word question. Ready? 'Uh-uh.' Dinosaurs.
You know, the world's 12 thousand years old and dinosaurs existed, and they existed in that time ... you'd think it would have been mentioned in the Bible at some point. "And lo, Jesus and the disciples walked to Nazareth. But the trail was blocked by a giant brontosaurus ... with a splinter in his paw. And O, the disciples did run a-shrieking: "What a big lizard, Lord!" But Jesus was unafraid, and he took the splinter from the brontosaurus's paw, and the big lizard became his friend. And Jesus sent him to Scotland where he lived in a loch for O, so many years, inviting thousands of American tourists to bring their fat families and their fat dollar bills. And O, Scotland did praise the Lord: "Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord."
But dinosaurs in the bible... So i asked em, 'dinosaurs, what's the deal with all those fossils we find?' and he replied "Oh, God put those here to test our faith"... Now does that scare anyone, the idea that Goooood... might be screwing with out heads? "Ho ho ho, i'm a prankster God!!"
But I love watching the Pope bounce around in his little Pope Mobile... That cracks me up. Him sitting there behind 3 foot of bulletproof plexiglass, now there's faith in action! Because only God's spokesman would need that much protection
And then there's this weird creationism vs. evolution thing... Have you noticed that the people who beleive in creationism seem really unevolved?
But the idea that we evolve from a common primate is not too hard to beleive... Especially in the UK, where Chavs seem to have skipped that evolutionary gate more than the average human...
A lot of christians wear crosses around their necks... Do you think that when Jesus comes down to earth, he ever wants to see a damn cross? It'd be like walking up to Jackie O wearing a sniper pendant...
But jeez... And Gideons fascinate me... Ever seen one, NO! but they're all over the world putting Bibles in hotel rooms... "This Bible was placed here by a Gideon" WHEN? I've been here all day and I didn't see anything. are they ninjas? where do they come from? Gidea? WHO ARE THESE GUYS???
And I saw all the Waco debacle... I am fascinated by that... And people always say to me "oh, that Koresh! What a weirdo!!" Let me think about that... Frustrated rock musician, armed to the teeth, and trying to sleep with everything that moves? I dunno how to tell you this... But it sounds like everyone of my friends!
"You must understand the 7 seals!" What is this, a circus? I saw seals! 7 of them bouncing balls off their noses!
And did anyone see the footage of the Bradley tanks shooting fire into the compound? That is nuts...
But people said he was nuts... Give him a break, his real name was Vernon... Let him be Jesus for one day! No one will follow a messiah named Vernon...
And why is it everyone snaps and thinks they're jesus? Why not Budda? Especially these days when more people resemble Budda?
"I'm Budda!"
"You're Bubba!"
"I'm Budda now, all I gotta do is change 2 letters on my belt!"
But people have compared me to Koresh before... They said i was like Koresh, but without the guns or women... So I guess that means i'm just annoying... Dang...
But here's my theory... I think, sure Koresh was nuts... But how in this world or the next does that justify the deaths of 86 innocent people at the hands of the US government? How in the hell? I'm still waiting for an answer.
Anyways, feedback is greatly appreciated and welcomed with open arms; both good and bad...

There is only ONE thing wrong with this post....the Theory of Evolution says we (humans and apes) decended from a common primate.
But still well done. _________________ NATIVE AMERICAN WISDOM |
