Post subject: My Material Part3: The war on drugs

Disclaimer: The views expressed in this comedic material are a little... sore... They are purely intended to express my views and opinions on certain matters such as religion, war and politics... Any mention of illicit drugs on this post or any of the other posts i put up are not, and i repeat NOT intended to promote recreational drug use, or drug abuse, but merely to raise awareness on the fact that drug use is not all black and white, as the government portrays it, but merely much grey area. Any views on religion is purely my opinion, and it is not intended to cause offense to anyone in particular, however people may not like what I say about christianity. If ANYONE is offended by any of my material, i would like to apologize now, because all i am trying to do is showcase my material... Adult language has been severely reduced, even eliminated, since this is a forum. If anyone would like to obtain some of my uncensored material, which also contains more expletive content about drugs, feel free to email me...
One last thing: I try and keep this original as possible. I will admit, a lot of my material has been heavily influenced by the late, great Bill Hicks however I will say that i'm not agreeing with him just to gain credit, I am agreeing with him because I beleive what he says is correct.
Finally, all material expressed in these posts or in emails sent from me, to you is MY material! I know you guys are not the types to steal material from anyone, but I can never be too careful. Thank you for taking the time to read this disclaimer, and I hope you enjoy my material...
I understand this is a little bit of a sore subject... Anyways, if any mods or admin has a serious problem with my post, and fear it may lead to massive problems, feel free to delete it, but i beg of you all to keep an open mind... For what it's worth, i have tried my best to keep this as neutral as possible, but I have certain strong morals here...
First of all, i'll ask a question. Why is pot against the law? Could it be because anyone can grow it and therefore the government can't make a profit from it? hmmm...
The war on drugs to me is absolutely phoney; it's so obviously phoney, OK? It's a war against our civil rights, that's all it is. They're using it to make us afraid to go out at night, afraid of each other, so that we lock ourselves in our homes and they get to suspend our rights one by one.
And i'll tell you all one little thing... You can have good times on drugs, and you can have SERIOUSLY bad times on drugs... but then again, you can have good and bad relationships... But here's the one that hurts... Alcohol and cigarettes are drugs. The war is definately taking a cease fire there. Alcohol and cigarettes kill more people than crack, coke and heroin each year... I'm not promoting the use of drugs but i'm not gonna sit around and beleive everything the government tells us.
George Bush says we are losing the war against drugs... You know what that implies? There is a war going on... And people on drugs are winning it... go figure that one out... It's like how the colonials fought the indians...
What really angers me about the war on drugs is the ads you get on the TV... the one i remember the most is with the big fat guy and the skillet "Here's your brain on drugs"... No! that's an egg! you're an alcoholic... Noone, sober or high sees an egg, and think's it's a brain... not one person...
I don't do drugs anymore, either. But I'll tell you something about drugs. I used to do drugs, but I'll tell you something honestly about drugs, honestly, and I know it's not a very popular idea, you don't hear it very often anymore, but it is the truth: While on drugs, i never went to jail Sorry. Never murdered anyone, never robbed anyone, never raped anyone, never beat anyone, never lost a job, a car, a house, a girlfriend and again, im not trying to promote the use of drugs at all... I'm just saying that people should have a choice on whether to do drugs or not, and who are we to tell people on how to live their lives? People make their own mistakes, sure you can get addicted, and everyone has a different experience with them, but WE ALL HAVE TO MAKE OUR OWN MISTAKES! I'm not encouraging anyone to start doing drugs, but i'm saying that we have no right to tell someone what to do with their lives... and if drug use was legalized, the government could afford to set up clinics for those who have drug problems and the government would be able to feesably help these people...
