Post subject: How do I get out of this...I need an excuse??

Gary wants me to go to his friends house this Sat to a 3yr olds birthday party and I dont know these guys well
Gary works with the lil girls dad - Peter..to who I call Garys bum chum LOL cuz the two of them are always out together, and calling each other up all the time, sending text messeges..they are worse than us women :roll:
Anyhoo I dont want to go...I have work most of this week (over time) and I am shattered...tomorrow is supposed to be a relaxing day off..but Gary wants me to go and bring Becky....I want him to bring Becky and let me stay at home..i am so tired and I dont feel like it...I hate kiddies birthday parties...all these screaming kids giving me a headache and I know i'll have that when Becky gets older and wants birthday parties...but i'll cross that bridge when I come to it
So..anyone have any idea on what would make a PERFECT BERRI EXCUSE???

I'm assuming you've told him how shattered you are and it didn't work?
Failing that can't a family member invent a handy emergency about 30 mins before you're due to set off?

Just do what my wife does:
Grab your tummy, bend over wailing and yell "OWWWWWWWW!" then run to the bathroom claiming "female problems" and slam the door. When he knocks on the door start to explain in excruciating, graphic detail the female reproductive cycle..........

LOL JM I never thought of that..but anyhoo...I tried to tell Gary I wasnt feeling too good and I was shattered...he layed the guilt trip on me so I went to the party...stayed 3 hours and then went home...there was a clown and some of the kids where yelling and laughing..and some where in tears cuz they where afraid of the clown LOL...but Becky just looked at him all content and he made Becky a balloon doggy and she put it in her mouth...I feared it would burst and scare her but it didnt
I took pics and will post them soon :)
Vince we have alone time tomorrow cuz Becky goes to church and then off to her grandmas for the rest of the day Whooohhoooooo
