Post subject: Help With Literature Pertaining to Energy

I am going on a book shopping spree in a couple of weeks and I wanted to know if anybody knew some good beginning and intermediate books on Wicca.
Also, what do you folks think of The Golden Dawn? That book was in my possession for a while but I never muddled through it.

LOL
One of the main reasons he threw my book away (so says he) is because he was under the impression that Aliester Crowley played a main role in it's production (which he did not. He just stole a bunch of crap from it and integrated it into his own practice). The husband (we'll call him T for short) is not very fond of Mr. Crowley himself, but supposedly has nothing agianst Wicca. At least he better not considering the "belief system" he follows. Another one of the "main" reasons he threw it out (I believe) is because it came from a guy who I left T for once upon a time not so long ago.
But, T is to blame for why I ever even knew Wicca (or any religion other than Christianity) existed. I grew up in a very sheltered, restraining environment. I wasn't allowed to wear spaghetti strap shirts because it might cause a man to sin in his mind and therefore his heart and if he did, it was all my fault.
T became protective a few years ago when I suffered a severe head injury that I was not supposed to recover from that was inflicted by T's crazy driving skills and me not wearing a seatbelt. Now he seems to think that I am not capable of making rational decisions because of some underlying mental problems that seemed to surface because of the injury. To a point I can see why he does what he does, he comes from a really screwed up family that is petrified by any sort of illness or death because those two things mean it's the end of the world as we know it, but Feck, enough's enough already.
Is there a place where you can talk about marriage here? I could sure use it! |

Yes you can talk on marrige as you need there is an actual place somewhere on this forum lol with boys too and maybe you could get insight into a mans mind but from what i have come to undersatnd its not rocket science feed em, F em and point em in the diretion of their job...I said this to my mother in law and she freaked out told my hubby I was a she devil. he luckily didn't get her sense of humour .....It was kinda a joke lets just say male, female have their good and bad.....
Is 'T' catholic or christian????Gosh your religious upbringing was great for your self esteem eh lol ( being very sarcastic)))It infuriates me how religon has demeaned and blamed the female for everything.....Are you okay on your head injury?????He is possibly racked with guilt (car accident) and projecting it on to you???? boys are very transparent uncomplicated what ever he is telling you that you are is what he is saying about himself........I read how you have no accsess to therapy you would make a good study you have a keen insight as it is with a little direction you would have this mapped out and find hubby COULD use some relief from the fears that religion blesses one with.... again sarcasm....lol
