Post subject: Do we want a contest of some sort

I was thinking if we should have some sort of contest Best poster most loved mod best witch etc something like that any one agree or is this a bad idea....I was thinking we can nominate from UM too maybe up membership .......discuss

I think anything that gets us more coverage and is likely to entice new members in is a good idea

i don't know if you can do this kind of thing in this forum, but UM has a nice banner at the top displaying the forum name and whatnot... we could do a contest to see who can make the best one. i'm sure there are plenty of graphic designers both here AND on UM.

The winner could have a rank such as "Best Graphics 2006" or something, like they have on UM

these are the categories for our first contest and these are my nominess ...i'd like to have all the mods on this nominate whomever you want and from that we will go public....Also i want to
include mods as nominees, this will be a puiblic choice we will take votes over a allotted time you can lobby for yourself too or your favorite pick I'm thinking something in our sigs to attract attention if we can on UM (geri you are always good with this part) and get others to vote at some level this is also a way to attract new memebers....Any revisoons I'm open this is why this is in here....lol |

If I had to nominate from RAW and UM I would say....
Most Inspiring Overall Female - Sheri Berri (she not only inspired my posts on UM but inspired this berri forum)
Most Inspiring Male - Zandore (he inspired me to go all BM on their hides on UM LOL with humour) LOL
Best poster for the Skeptics - Stellar LOL (when he hits he hits hard and is so funny when he does lol)
Best Poster for the Religious folks - Irish (he always has the wise solutions to help others understand as to where he is coming from)
Best Female Skeptic - Bacca Berri (bacca gets stuck in when she is on line and it was her posts that 1st got me to stick with the skeptics)
Best Funny Female Skeptic - Rose Ashes (When she is posting her side of the arguement, she cracks me up)
Best Poster - Mako( Mako not only delivers intelligent posts but he always seems to wipe the smug smirks off the faces of the nit wits that try to corner him)
Best Male Raw Mod - Vince (he has been stuck into this from the start and even cautioned lil ole me lol )
Best Female Raw Mod - Bebi (she has been stuck in from the start and has inspired some great forum suggestions, but she better not ban me lol)
Best UM Mod - Irish
(Irish is fair when he makes his decisions and he doesn't need another UM mod to go in after him to close a thread and he isn't bias)
Other categories...........
The toughest Poster - Sheri Berri (Sheri always takes a strong stand for what she believes in and she never backs down even when the going gets tough)
The Craziest Poster - Imaginary Friend (need I say more lol)
Best Art Work - Bebi (I was going to say ME LOL)

Most Loyal member - JMPD1(JM comes here all the time without fail very loyal)
