Post subject: Dissociative Identity Disorder
K, so I just spent the last two months in a psychiatric hospital (with a one week break there), had the privlidge (sp?) of working with Dr. Mungadze and his program. So I found out what the heck was wrong with me and why I had so many "disorders." I am Multiple. I have DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder) which is comparative to a lesser version of Multiple Personality Disorder. So I have different "identities" in my head that rear their heads when triggered. These identities are formed because a child between infancy and 6 years old is exposed to some sort of "trauma" that their conscious psyche cannot handle. That event is stored in the subconscious of the right mind and the person "learns" to dissociate from any trauma or anything that reminds the "alters" of the trauma. That "alter" takes the memory and keeps it from you and forms an identity based on that/those events. Anyways, that is all I have to say and I have probably said too much. But, at least now I know why I can't remember a frikin thing about my past. Anyways, laters ya'll.
