Post subject: Creating moving .gif images
|
|
|
Not sure if this should be here or in software, please feel free to move if it's not the right place.
I'm trying to add text to a .gif image for my dad, to be honest he asked me to do it and I haven't a clue. I've tried playing around with it in Corel PhotoPaint (using the movie function) but it doesn't seem to work. I have the full CorelDRAW Graphics Suite (version 12) so if there's another program on there I should be using let me know.
I'm assuming once I find out how to create a .gif image from scratch adding the text to one will be simple.

There's another option, but it takes time and a lot of patience..
You could try downloading Microsoft Gif animator and having a go at it yourself... That probably sounds really sarcastic, but i don't mean it in a sarcastic way...
I animated a GIF on my PC a while ago, it was my first try and i think it came out pretty well... you can see it in my sig on UM... What I did was I started off with a base image, and then edited it using photoshop... Each edit i did counted as one frame...
It's not as complicated as it sounds... if anyone would like a hand animating something with Microsoft Gif animator, just email or PM me and i'll get back to you _________________

I use "Animation Shop 3" for gif anim creation/final touches.
