Post subject: Australian Creatures.

Australia is a place of wierd and wonderful animals, some of these include the Echidna and Platypus, which happen to be the only two mammels in the world (that we know of so far) that lay eggs. When the English first settled in Australia and discovered the platypus they thought it was a duck and small mammel sowed together to get the appearence of a furry webbed footed and billed animal but it was soon discovered to be real. Mabey there are other animals here that people consider to be fake until they are proven otherwise.
Drop Bears- lots of Australian men and women have believed to have witnessed a drop bear or have been attacked by one, A Drop Bear is supposed to look simmilar to a koala (Native animal) except a little bigger and come in different colours and/or types. These creatures are supposed to be carnivors and are heard to eat anything from bush mice to humans.
Hoop Snake- I don't know much about this 'creature' except that is supposed to look like an ordinary snake but travells by holding onto it's other end and sorta spins like a wheel.
The Yowie- Probably the most famous of Australian Mythical creatures the yowie has been sighted since aboriginal times, this creature is supposed to look and act simmilary to the sasquatch or Big foot.
There are probably alot more but those three are all i'm putting up right now.
luv Amelia
