We had a major flea problem last summer. We got two kittens and the poor things were crawling with them. Couldn't use anything til they hit 12 weeks old (4 weeks after we got them) so you can imagine what it was like We tried everything (and I mean everything) once they were old enough, and the only thing we found that worked were those drops you use once every three months on the nape of their neck combined with a bagless vaccuum with hepa filters to stop the lil buggers escaping again.
It's pointless treating the pet without treating the environment, and believe it or not just changing vaccuum actually made all the difference. The house sprays and bug-bombs are useless, they don't kill the eggs. I've read up on sooo much flea info it's unbelievable LOL it got so bad last year we daren't let anyone visit in case they got bit ffs. |

We had a mess with fleas last year also....In previous years we would have and exterminator come to the house...but it didn't seem to be working...and all the "Frontline Plus" wasn't helping either....so....The vet told me to Use the frontline plus....the "Plus" treats all the areas where the pets lay, walk etc,. In addition to the frontline...bathe your animal in "Dawn dish washing liquid"...most flea medication is water proof...so you can use both...be careful not to get the Dawn in the animals eyes...It worked for me......Good luck... _________________ Never fear the dead, fear the living, they are more dangerous...."Trust Me" |

I don't think that any natural cure is going to give the releif you need. I have 110lb malamute so I know about fleas. I tried a couple of natural products to no avail. We did get rid of them totally.
1. Had the dog dipped.
2. Treated inside of home.
3. Had the yard treated. Most important.
